It was bound to happen. When you put 6 girls in one tiny dorm diseases will spread. Somebody save us. If you are reading this, please make sure we are still alive. Our best friend Jake said his goodbyes to us before going into the MTC tomorrow so we were already sad about that and now we are all ill. Send help! We are living in beds, listening to records from the DI, and trying to remember what good health feels like. Our friends have deserted us in fears of catching the cold. We are friendless, foodless, and in desperate need of tissues.
I desire to go on a sicknic tonight. Which is: a picnic for the sick. I want to be outside, soaking up the warmth. I am grateful most weeks/semesters aren’t like this. It reminds me of a book I had as a child called Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. He is having an awful day and wants to move to Australia. The book ends with Mom’s assurance that everybody has bad days, even people who live in Australia. It is a children’s classic! I recommend it, and my recommendation matters because I am an award winning author. Not. Jokes. I’m tired, give me some slack.
I love you guys, I hope you know that as soon as we are better I have some awesome outfits planned. Now hide yo kids before everyone gets contaminated!
Love,
Lady Lena and the indisposed Penthouse pals
